About HostColo & Datagram

Infrastructure built on 30+ years of internet expertise.

Our Story: From Ethernet to AI

Datagram was founded in 1993 by Alex Reppen, back when the internet was just beginning to reshape the world. We started by doing the unglamorous but critical work: installing ethernet networks and providing T1 internet access to replace overloaded dialup and ISDN connections.

As the internet grew, so did our network. We built one of the first peering exchanges—NY-NAP—and grew to operate 25+ Points of Presence globally. We've hosted infrastructure for some of the largest companies in the world: Google, AOL, Activision, MasterCard, DataBricks, Conde Nast, and Huffington Post.

In 2015, we made a strategic decision: we sold most of our global network but kept our core—three world-class datacenters in Danbury, CT, Denver, CO, and Los Angeles, CA.

Today, we're pairing 30 years of datacenter expertise with the future: HostColo brings cutting-edge cloud and AI infrastructure to that proven foundation. Enterprise reliability. Modern performance. Fair prices.
